Guy Pirolli

Guy Pirolli ’73, Founding President, credits Classical with helping him problem solve, a skill he’s used throughout his career in real estate. As a parent of 3 Classical graduates, Guy witnessed the effects of decreased public funding on students, limiting their access to many scholastic and extracurricular activities he enjoyed as a student. During his children’s time at Classical, he served on many school and related city education committees and was a past appointee of the City of Providence’s School Board nominating committee. He serves on the Board as a means of giving back and strives to ensure current students have access to the same opportunities he did as a student. Guy encourages students not to fear failure, but to view any setbacks as an opportunity to learn and become more dedicated to your goals.

Guy’s career spans over 40 years in real estate brokerage and management, appraisal, and construction renovation. He is a past president and board member of RI Building Owners Association and served on the board of the RI Society of Real Estate Appraisers.  He is currently the Manager of Facilities Operations for Rhode Island Housing. He lives in Providence, RI with his wife, Paula ‘73, whom he met when they were both Sophomores at Classical. They have been married for 40 years. His favorite sports team is the Boston Bruins.  He enjoys golfing and all forms of comedy.
